Azurite Fitness: 1.3.5

Today, we are rolling out version 1.3.5 to users on Google Play. This update is focused on behind the scenes improvements to make sure you get the best experience possible. We have also been working on some new features in the background that we will reveal in due course, just like fitness, app development is a journey!

Introducing Dynamic Colour

In this release, we are pleased to add beta support for Android's latest design innovation in the form of Material You, applying incredible Dynamic Color across the app. With this release, we have worked hard not just to support Dynamic Color support, but to also add this support across our 30 currently available colour options, in both light and dark themes, giving you the most personal experience possible!

We have added a new switch into the accent colour selection card in Personalisation settings to enable dynamic color based on your devices wallpaper and theme, to truly bring the app and platform to life. We can't wait for you to try it out and let us know what you think!

Notes, now generally available

In this release, we are now making Notes in Health and Measure available to all users. When you add a new metric measurement from now on, you will also be able to add a note about that measurement. This also applies for users who go back and edit any previous measurements. To just add a note to your current reading, you will need to tap on that metric card, go to history in details view and select your most recent reading. This will give you the chance to edit your note.

Fixes and improvements

  • We have updated how Personalisation and other settings save data your data to improve code efficiency.

  • We have simplified My Motivation and updated how the data is saved.

  • We have fixed inconsistencies with radio button text in Personal Detail cards, these should now all show with a slightly bolder font.

  • We have tweaked the set height card in Personal Details to improve spacing when users are using imperial measurement units.

  • We have fixed an issue where the Open Gallery button in Details View wasn't showing an icon.

  • We have updated the toggle buttons in the Achieve dashboard so that they now have icons. We have also fixed a font consistency issue, so they use a font consistent with the app, and no longer show with shadow behind them.

  • We have removed two buttons from the Project Kilauea Dashboard that gave users early access to new features unintentionally. We are excited to show you what's coming, but we're not there yet!

  • We have updated the navigation bars throughout the app with a more consistent look and behaviour.

  • We have removed the headings from the Kilauea, Health, Measure and Achieve Dashboards, for a more consistent experience with others app on Android.

We hope that the changes and update's we've made help to improve your experience. As always, please do send feedback in Feedback Centre to help us to continue to improve the app and create the product that you want.

Keep up the hustle,

Tim C.
