Today, we are releasing Azurite Fitness Beta 6 to our already registered beta testers. This release includes a few new features along with improvements and bug fixes. We have also included our first insider access feature for users to try out.
Here is what's new in version 1.1.3 (101XX)
Image Selection (Beta)
In this release, we are introducing new image selection UI for Insider Access users. What this allows is a more streamlined experience across the app. When tapping on a photo button now, we have replaced the popup dialog with a bottom fragment, ensuring the options are right under your thumb. Users can select from the camera or gallery option.
Once you have taken your photo or selected from the gallery, you will have the chance to check the image. and either cancel the process, choose a different image or save your selection. This will hopefully give you more flexibility and control over the images you upload to your account.
What we've done will mean that we can maintain the photos functionality with greater ease than we currently do. We look forward to hearing your feedback about this new experience before we roll it out officially.
Other fixes and improvements
We have made changes to text on buttons on the password reset page.
We have updated more areas of the app to use the built in error messaging when entering text.
We have made changes to improve the login screen.
We have cleaned up files to ensure the best experience without redundant elements.
Bug fixes and performance optimisations.
Known Issues
We are aware of issues that mean images are not updated after using the new Image Selection beta, we are investigating this.
This release has focused on general improvements and optimisations, along with code improvements to ensure the very best experience for all of our users. We are working hard to bring an official release as soon as possible.
Keep up the hustle,
Tim C.
